Dorothy Jean Smith Mcgordon

Pastor Dorothy Jean (Smith) McGordon 80 of Indianapolis entered her earthly life on June 09, 1932 in Lakeland, Florida and her eternal life on July 10, 2012. Dorothy graduated in 1950 from Rochelle High School in Lakeland, FL. Dorothy was ordained in June of 1990 and she was the Pastor of Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Church in Indianapolis. Pastor McGordon was a member of the Apostolic Assemblies of Christ. Pastor was preceded in death by her husband Pastor Victor McGordon, her sons David Maurice and Todd McGordon, daughters Candace Howell and Lucy Cottle and her brother Sylvester Smith. A Victory Celebration is scheduled for Friday July 20, 2012 at Victory Tabernacle Apostolic Church 761 North Sheffield Ave Indianapolis, IN beginning at 7:00 PM. On Saturday July 21, 2012 at Christ Church Apostolic 6601 Grandview Drive Indianapolis, IN calling will begin at 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a Home Going Celebration at 11 AM. Burial will be in Washington Park North Cemetery. Pastor McGordon leaves behind to cherish her memories her children Victor and Thyrone McGordon, Stacey Smith, Andrea, and Jacquelyn McGordon and Cynthia Orduna and her siblings Patricia Gant, Willie and Earl McCalpin, Shirley DuBoise, Carolyn, Dennis and Linda McCalpin and a host of grandchildren great grandchildren and great great grandchildren nieces and nephews and friends.
