Dorothy Gail Mcauley
May 18, 1920 — June 24, 2016
Dorothy “Gail” McAuley, 96, of Indianapolis, passed awaypeacefully in her sleep June 24, 2016. She was born in Louisville, KY to the late Robert and Margaret Housel,and was the widow of D. Russell McAuley. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Robert “Bud” Housel.
She is survived by her children, Donald McAuley (Jean),Sandra Faude, Linda Cashe (David), 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, anda sister, Mary Catherine Fleehearty. Gail’s family would like to thank the staff of Crestwood AssistedLiving, and Freedom Hospice for the love and care given to her.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., with a service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Flanner andBuchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington, St. Indianapolis, IN 46229.
