Dorothy G. Whyde

Dorothy G. Whyde 72 of Indianapolis, IN passed away July 3, 2014. She was a faithful member of St. Ann Catholic Church where she spent many hours volunteering her time and talents. She loved spending time with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. She was also a passionate football fan especially following Notre Dame , Wabash College and her beloved Indianapolis, Colts. She is survived by her children, Tom (Lori), Greg (Cindy) Whyde, Lisa (Bill) Harvey, 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, sister, Helen Schell and brothers, Charlie and Joe Schmutte. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Whyde, and her brothers, Jack, Frank, Sam and Bill Schmutte. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, July 11, 2014 10 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church, 6350 S. Mooresville Road Indianapolis, IN with visitation Thursday, July 10th 4-8 PM in Flanner and Buchanan-Decatur Township. She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery following the service.
