Dorothy C Harris

Dorothy (Bunny) Harris Dorothy died peacefully on May 28, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, a daughter Cheryl, and a son Steve. Dorothy is survived by one sister, one brother, three sons, Michael (Gerrie), Bill and Ken, 3 grandchildren, Anne Perryman, Robert E. Harris and Danny Harris, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter. Dorothy was born in Rochester, N.Y. She worked for Kodak before she joined the Marine Corps during World War II. She was very proud of her service in the Marine Corps where she met her husband Robert and they settled in Indianapolis. Dorothy was retired from Allison's in Indianapolis. She was an active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, American Legion Post438, and the Oasis Club. She was a devoted volunteer for many charitable and Veteran organizations. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 1030am, with a Memorial Mass at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E. 10th St, Indpls, IN 46219 on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 1000am. In lieu of flowers family request memorial contributions be made to Holy Spirit.
