Dorothy C. Clark

Dorothy C. Clark, 86, of Brownsburg and formerly of Noblesville passed away May 16, 2023.  She was born January 3, 1937, in Indianapolis the daughter of the late Charles R. and Ruth (Faulk) Hightshue.  She married Frank R. Clark on October 22, 1965. He preceded her in passing on November 9, 2006.

Dorothy’s big heart and desire to care for others led her to a wonderful, fulfilling career as a Registered Nurse. She even continued her studies to receive several certifications in this field.  She was a member of Walnut Grove Chapel where she taught Sunday School.  She loved gardening and spending time with her extended family and grandchildren.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and nana.

She is survived by three children, Robert Charles (Anne Marie) Clark, Marilyn Ruth (Alan) Zehntner, Carol Suzann Smith; six grandchildren, Andrew “Drew” (Kayli) Clark, Rachel (Josh) Clement, Jacob “Jake” Zehntner, Charles “Charlie”Zehntner, Grant Smith, Gaven Smith; and a brother, Dan (Maryann) Hightshue.  She preceded in passing by two brothers, David Hightshue and Dick Hightshue.

A private family service is planned.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Flanner Buchanan – Carmel.
