Dorothy A. Wilkins

Dorothy A. Wilkins, 71, of Cicero, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. Dorothy was born on December 23, 1943 in Birdseye, the daughter Carl and Clara (Voges) Persohn.

Dorothy graduated from Birdseye High School in 1961. Dorothy was active in the Angels of Hope Ministry, Senior Citizens of Noblesville and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan, and she enjoyed crocheting, camping and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of fourteen years, Ronnie Wilkins; children, Susan Wann (Ben), Stanley Nordhoff, Steven Nordhoff (Regina), Scott Nordhoff (Dawn) and Sonny Nordhoff (Stacie); fifteen grandchildren, Sara, Lindsay, Josh, Chantel, Danny, Adam, Jill, Ethan, Isaac, Tommy, Gia, Jennifer, Jessica, Melinda and Randy; three great grandchildren, Kaylee, Princeton, and Caleb; one sister, Marilyn Thewes (Larry); and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Allen Persohn; and a great grandchild, Caiden A. Smith.

Visitation will be held at Flanner and Buchanan Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive, on Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 410 Pearl Street, Cicero, on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with one hour of visitation preceding.
