Doris M. Cullison

92, of Indianapolis passedaway peacefully, surrounded by all those who loved her deeply, on June 26, 2016. She was a loving wife, Mother, Grandmotherand Great Grandmother. She was born onNovember 18, 1923 to the late John and Mary (Brown) French.

She grew up in the town of Bicknel,Indiana, and married her childhood sweetheart Virgil Cullison in 1942, whopreceded her death. She was alsopreceded in death by her siblings and son Butch. Doris was very active in the SpeedwayMoose Lodge #500 and the Eastern Star Corinthian Chapter #456. She was owner and operator of CullisonExcavating Company.

She is survived by her son, Rick (Pam); daughter,Sheila H; granddaughters, Jennifer and Cheryl; and her sweet little dog Spike. Mom will be missed, but live on in our heartsforever. Friends may call Friday, July1, 2016 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Flannerand Buchanan-Washington Park North. Funeralservice will be Saturday, July 2. 2016 at 11am, with one hour of visitationprior to service. Entombment will be in Washington Park North Cemetery. In Lieuof flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hamilton County Humane Societyand American Heart Association.
