Doris Beaver

Doris Mae Moon Beaver 91, of Indianapolis passed away on February 3, 2014. Doris was born on January 2, 1923 in Carmel, IN to Albert and Monell Moon. Doris truly loved life; she enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting and gardening Doris retired from ARA Services in 1987 also worked at Sears, JC Penny, and The 5 and Dime. Doris is survived by her loving daughter Judy Knauer; Brother Charles Moon; sisters Esther White and Lilly Tiddwell. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren She is preceded in death by her late husband Lester V. Beaver; son Gary Beaver; Brother Walter Moon and Sister Francis Hughes. Friends may call from 12pm to 3pm Saturday, February 8, 2014, at Flanner and Buchanan- Good Shepherd Chapel, 9700 Allisonville Rd Indianapolis, IN. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
