Doris Ann Law

Doris Ann (Hill) Law, 72, of Indianapolis, died on August 12, 2013. She was born May 19, 1941 in Alabama and married David M. Law on November 9, 1963. She attended Southeastern Church of Christ and was best known for her cooking and nurturing ways. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Gwendolyn Hawks. She is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, David, her children, Deborah (Craig) Messenger and Dennis (Beth) Law, grandchildren, Cayla, Cameron, Brittany, Kelsay and Allison, and great granddaughter, Allana. (She lovingly cared for over 100 children during her 40 years as a foster mother. She also raised Susan Selig, Kathy Antunes, Robin Reynolds and Missy Lambert). She was mother to two, mom to many, grandmother to five and Mimi to many. Visitation will be from 10-1 Saturday at Southeastern Church of Christ with the funeral service at 1 PM.
