Donzeda "Donna" Marie Spurling

Donzeda "Donna" Marie Spurling, a beloved member of the Indianapolis community, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on July 21, 1935, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Donna brought joy and warmth to those around her throughout her life.

Donna graduated from Howe High School and went on to have a long and fulfilling career at Highpoint Oil Company, from which she eventually retired. Her dedication and hard work were a testament to her character and the values she cherished.

A lifelong member of Englewood Christian Church, Donna was known for her unwavering faith and commitment to her community. She found solace and strength within her church family, where she actively participated and connected with fellow members over the years.

Donna is survived by her loving sister, Pat Starks, and her son, Tracey Spurling, who, along with his wife, Miriam, will carry forward her legacy of kindness and generosity.

In honor of Donna's life, services will be held at Englewood Christian Church on Monday, January 12, 2026. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery, with burial scheduled for 2:30 PM.

Donna’s spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the joy she brought to her family, friends, and the many lives she touched throughout her remarkable journey.
