Donna Sue Young

Donna Sue Young, 69 of Baxter, KY passed away Thursday evening of October 16, 2025 at the Harlan ARH.

Donna was born February 10, 1956 in Harlan to the late Claude and Pearl Givens Evans. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Claude Evans, Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ray Young; son, Donnie (Jackie) Shelton, step son, Jason (Egle) Young and step daughter, Amy Young; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Sherry (Chris) Ramsey, Darla Lamb and Brenda Sturgill; brother, Charles (Linda) Evans; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday (Oct. 21) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home, 114 S. 3rd Street, Harlan, KY 40831.

She will then be taken to Indianapolis, IN where a visitation will be held from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm at the Flanner Buchanan Funeral Home, Washington Park East Chapel, 10722 E Washington St. Indianapolis, IN 46229.

Burial will follow at 2:00 pm in the Washington Park East Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers.
