Donna Schneider

Indianapolis, Indiana – Donna Schneider, 84, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025, after being comforted by her family. Her hard-working attitude and joy for her family will be deeply missed.

Donna was born to parents Basil Cohoon & Beatrice Krauss (Lloyd) on January 26, 1941, in Indianapolis. She went on to careers with Community Hospital East, as a patient registrar as well as working with her sister Sue for over thirty years doing interior painting and wallpapering before her retirement.

When not hard at work with her sister, Donna loved to spend time traveling. She loved to see the country, especially Florida and Las Vegas.

Most of all though, Donna loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She was a dedicated mother and joyful grandmother, her greatest days those that she got to spend with her family.

In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her first husband, Jim Schneider, son Patrick Schneider, as well as granddaughter Jenny Schneider.

She is survived by her sons Greg Schneider (Rose), Jason Schneider; Matt Schneider (Vicki), sister Sue Cooney; grandchildren Jimmy Schneider, Nathan Schneider, Erik Schneider (Maggie), Quinn Schneider (Maggie), Haley Dicken (Blake), and great-grandchildren Dani Mae Schneider and Genevieve Schneider.
