Donna M. Stites

Donna M. Stites, 75, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Community Hospital North. She was born in Indianapolis, IN the daughter of George and Sue (White) Pollard. She was the Food Service Director at Monroe-Gregg School System retiring in 1998. She was a member of Monrovia Christian Church and Volunteered at Old Bethel Food Pantry and at Community Hospital East Gift Shop. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert E. Stites, her sister, Carolyn Crawford and her brother, G. Edward Pollard. Donna is survived by her son, Scott (Trishia) Stites of Angola, IN, her daughters, Linda (Joey) Smith and Amy (Dr. Rob) Newton of Fishers, IN, grandchildren, Lindsay (Andrew) Emery, Brittany McClain, Skyler and Spencer Stites and Riley and Grace Newton. Viewing will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 PM on Monday, June 2, 2014 at Flanner and Buchanan-Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday at the funeral home with burial in Orchard Hill Cemetery in Wannamaker, IN.
