DONNA KAYE ROSEBROUGH

Beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and follower of Christ.

Donna was born on March 16, 1958, the second daughter of Delmer and Nola Spears.  She attended Decatur Township schools, graduating from Decatur Central High School in 1976. Soon after graduation, Donna began a very successful career as a hair stylist with a loyal base of customers on the south and west sides of Indianapolis.

Donna began the most important chapter of her life when she married Rick Rosebrough in 1983.  They were blessed with two wonderful sons Eric and Ryan.  Her greatest joy was supporting Rick and her boys in all of their athletic, academic and professional pursuits.  Donna and Rick made their home in Speedway where Donna always welcomed family and friends to their famous Race Party each May.  Donna loved helping her family whether hosting the Thanksgiving Dinner or making sure that her father-in-law had a sugar-free dessert each Sunday evening.

Donna attended Our Shepherd Lutheran Church where she was a faithful member of the Monday night small group Bible study.

Surviving are her husband Rick and sons Eric and his wife Kelsey, and Ryan and his fiancé Evann as well as sister Pam Marcus, niece Bobbi Cantrell, and a large family of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Viewing will be on Friday, March 30 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Flanner Buchanan-Speedway, 2950 N. High School Road with funeral services on Saturday, March 31 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, 9201 East County Road 100 North in Avon followed by a graveside service at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield.

The family requests that memorials in Donna’s name be made to Scholarships for Speedway, 5335 West 25^th Street, Speedway, IN  46224.
