Donna Harrison

Donna Jeanne McGill Harrison 86, Zionsville, died July 22, 2012 in Indianapolis. Donna was born November 3, 1925 in Dana, IN to the late Charles and Anna Mae Bennett McGill. Also preceding her in death were 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Donna married George William Harrison Jr. who died in 1997 after 51 ½ years of marriage. She graduated from Newport High School and from Lakeview Community Hospital in Danville, IN. which was affiliated with the Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL. Donna was a cadet nurse in the U.S. Army during WW II and she was employed 32 years at Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis. She was a 50 year member of the United Methodist Church of Zionsville and of the Eastern Star # 204 of Kingman, IN. Donna is survived by her son Richard C. Harrison (Nancy); daughter, Linda S. Laws (Bobby) Bulverde, TX; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday July 24, 2012 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan – Zionsville and graveside service will be held 11am Wednesday July 25, 2012 at Kingman Cemetery in Kingman, IN.
