Noblesville, Indiana

Donna Jo (Merideth) Brown, 81, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away on July 19, 2026. She was born on August 30, 1944, to parents, the late Raymond “Red” and Josephine (Mundy) Merideth. Donna met the love of her life, the late Jimmy Barry Brown, in high school, and later tied the knot on October 28, 1962. They enjoyed a wonderful 60 years together before his passing in 2023.

Donna loved spending time with her family and held those bonding moments very close to her heart. Donna had the best career of raising her three wonderful children, which kept her busy. Donna and Barry worked hard for what they had, and their second biggest accomplishment, besides their children, was the farm they lived on. The farm holds special love, laughter, and memories that Donna cherished. She and the children loved tending to life on their farm, so much so that the farms are still under care of their children. Together, Barry and Donna enjoyed canning beets and green beans, freezing corn, making homemade jelly and apple butter. Through her husband Barry, they met a lot of wonderful friends that kept them busy, and always looking forward to laughing and spending time with one another. Donna graduated from Noblesville High School in 1962. Growing up, you would often find Donna skating at the Rainbo Roller Rink. While raising her children, Donna was a part of PTA and served as a room, den, baseball and soccer mom. Donna was a Girl Scout and 4-H leader. She was a member of Kappa Delta Phi, Eastern Star and served as the secretary and card ministry of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church where she attended. Those that knew her well loved her no-bake cookies. Donna was an avid fan and enjoyed watching the Perry Mason series and anything on the Hallmark channel.

Donna is survived by her children, Jamie (Clint) Baber, Jimmy (fiancé Michelle Fields) Brown, Jodie (Brian) Creek; grandchildren, Merideth Baber, Jordon (Travis) Resler; bonus grandchildren, Kathleen Bender, Lizzy Matz; extended grandchildren, Mackenna and Haley; great-grandchildren, Jade Resler, Carson Resler; and beloved dogs, Rusty and Harley. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the following caregivers Tami Ellis, Paula McElroy, Megan Ellis, Jeri Sandefur and Heartland Hospice.
