Donas Wayne Singleton

Donas Singleton Sr, 78, born July 13, 1934 left our presence February 3, 2013. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Yvonne, an infant son, Jay, three brothers, Johnny, Brice, and Ed Singleton, three sisters, Pearl Maxam, Lora Combs and Mae Nuckols and two great grandsons, Chandler and Chad Ison Jr. He is survived by is son, Donas Jr, daughter Lana (Scott) Lawson, six grandchildren Aaron, Drew (Christi) Lawson, Alee Ison, Donas III, Miranda, Austin Singleton. 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He estabilished Don's Auto Trim in 1972, was an avid bowler and a member of many teams at various bowling alleys. He enjoyed collecting old cars, especially Hudsons, but owned all makes and models. He also enjoyed drag boat racing, holding many speed records. The biggest achievement of his life was his family. His grand and great grandchildren were the loves of his life. They are what kept him young at heart and active. Viewing will be held at Flanner and Buchanan – Floral Park 425 N. Holt Road on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 fron 4:00 to 8:00 pm with funeral services being on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 11:00 am at Flanner and Buchanan.
