Donald E. Lile, Sr.

85 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on February 21, 2024.  Donald was born on April 10, 1938, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Elvin and Helen Lile.   He was a Welder for thirteen years.  He was also a Semi Driver for Roadway where he achieved the two-million-mile safe driver award.  He was preceded in death by his two sisters and his parents.  He is survived by his wife, Josephine M. Lile; children, Teresa (Neal) Bates, Donald Lile, Jr. and Michael (Dana) Lile; sisters, Martina (David) Burdine and Daun (Joe) Ardelean; brother, Rick (Joan) Lile; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.   Funeral service will be Friday, March 1, 2024, at 2 pm with visitation from 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
