(Don) G. Worley, 91, of Indianapolis, IN died peacefully on June 24, 2025, of heart failure at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Don was born Nov. 7, 1933, to George and Helen Worley. He was married to Aurora Cantu of Michigan from 1957-1988. She survives. He is also survived by three children: Tammy (Rob) Fascian of East Peoria IL, Kevin and Yancy Worley of Haslett, MI., two grandchildren Adam (Emily) Hahn and Brandy Hahn, three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren and three nephews. He was proceeded in death by one half-brother Gene Worley. And one younger brother Kenneth Worley of Colorado.
Don loved bluegrass music, festivals, get togethers, and playing the guitar. He was also known for his love of western wear, often seen wearing cowboy boots and hats and large western belt buckles. He combined his love of western wear with bright colored clothes, yellow being his favorite color. He also loved all things Mexican, the people, their music, and their food. So much so that he was a daily regular at his favorite Mexican restaurant for many years. Most importantly, anyone who knew him, knew that first and foremost his life was dedicated to serving Jehovah God. He lived his whole life firmly and steadfastly believing in the Bible and the hope of someday seeing the earth restored to its natural beauty in the New World, surrounded by all those who love Jehovah, as well. Cremation by Flanner Buchanan - Speedway IN. A private spreading of the ashes will be held at a later time.
