Donald W. Stewart

Donald W. Stewart, Jr. 78, passed away January 2, 2012. Donald was a machinist with Switzer and Diamond Chain Corp., retiring in 1998. He was a member of the Brookside Masonic Lodge, Moose Lodge, Boy Scouts of America, lifetime member of the NRA, Old Bethel United Methodist Church and was an amateur radio operator. Donald is survived by his children, H. Katherine (husband, James) Cook and Donald F. Stewart; grandchildren, Victoria Mae, Joshua Allen and Andrea Kay; great grandchildren, Keeley Echo Mae, Alaina Siohe Beverly, Aiden James and Reilly Douglas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald W. and Anna Catherine (Ball) Stewart, Sr. and a sister, Mary Inez Rector. Services for Donald will be at 12 Noon on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Old Bethel United Methodist Church, 7995 E. 21st St., with visitation from 10 a.m. to Noon and a Masonic service immediately prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riley Hospital for Children. Arrangements: Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East.
