Donald W. Fink

Donald W. Fink, 87, Indianapolis, passed away at home December 22, surrounded by family. He was born August 5, 1924, in St. Louis, MO, to Louise Farley Fink and Walter Fink. Donald served in the United States Navy during WW II. He graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering and was owner and principal of Fink and Co. until he retired. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria, and his parents and sisters, Dorothy Carron and LaVerne Fink. Survivors include his children, Susan Kuhn (Thomas), Steve (Janice), Laurie DeMare, Michael (Kaye), Tony, and Chris (Lynn). He was adored by his 13 grandchildren: Jennifer, Joe, Kristen, Brian, Melissa, Kalyn, Frank, III (Scooter), Katie, Adriane, David, Andrew, Olivia, and Matthew. His memory will also live on in great-grandchildren: Ethan, McKenzie, Elizabeth, Stephen, Maddie, Colton, Peyton, Stella and Ruby. The viewing will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church on Tuesday, December 27, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial and celebration of Donald's long life and devotion to his family will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 14598 Oak Ridge Rd., Carmel IN. Viewing will precede the Mass at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or St. Vincent Hospice.
