Donald Heath Smith

Donald “Heath” Smith, 58, passed away on October 3, 2026. Heath was born to Danny and Star Smith on August 17, 1968.

Heath graduated from Warren Central High School. Heath loved being outdoors, especially hunting, and could often be found enjoying the freedom that came with being out in nature. He also enjoyed playing pool, riding motorcycles, and spending time watching his favorite show, Walker Texas Ranger.

Heath is preceded in death by his dad Danny Smith; grandparents William and June Warren, Sam Smith; and uncle Mark Warren. He is survived by his children Haley Smith, Eric Smith; mom Star Smith; grandma Rita Smith; sister Theresa (John) Smith-Dill; as well as a nephew and niece.

Visitation for Heath will take place on Tuesday October 13, 2026, from 11:00am-1:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Home, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229. Services will follow at 1:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be made to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
