Donald Raymond Ridgeway

Donald Raymond Ridgeway of Noblesville, IN passed away on February 19, 2022, at the age of 84.  Donald was born on March 27, 1937, in Chicago, IL to parents, Harry and Florence (Nelson) Wesburg.  He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.

During his career, Don worked in the mortgage finance industry for over 50 years.  In 1992, he and his partner opened AmTrust Financial Services, one of the first broker shops in Indiana.  For the past 4 1/2 years, Don worked part-time at the Logan Street Kroger in Noblesville. He would often joke that he could stack canned goods with the best of them.  He loved his Kroger family and the friends that he made there.

Don, an avid Green Bay Packers Fan, enjoyed a strong rivalry with his wife, Patty, who happens to be an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.  He was also an avid boater, and member of the “Nutty Navy” boating club.  During the summertime, he spent every weekend on the water, spending time with friends and towing the kids behind on their wave runners. Don also enjoyed golfing with friends and playing racquet ball at the South Harbour Club House, where he enjoyed taking on the role of “grill-master” during their 4^th of July Celebration each year.  Don and Patty also enjoyed traveling and taking long road trips together.

Don is survived by his wife, Patty M. Ridgeway; children: Mark Ridgeway (Mary), Glenn Ridgeway (Bonnie), and Scott Ridgeway (Michele); stepchildren: Laura Perkins (Richard), Crissy Applegate, Debbie Klein (Don) and Robert Latham (Gina); 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4pm until 8pm on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Flanner Buchanan-Carmel (325 E. Carmel Drive, Carmel).  Additional visitation will be held from 2pm until 3pm on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Cornerstone Lutheran Church (4850 E. Main Street, Carmel), where funeral services will immediately follow beginning at 3pm, with Pastor Dan Schumm officiating.
