Donald Raymond Moody

Donald R. Moody 85 of Indianapolis went to be with the Lord on Friday November 15. He was born in Elwood, IN to Charles R. and Roxie (Leavitt) Moody. He was married to Virginia M. Moody for 64 years. He was the brother of Marjorie Miller and Marilyn Montgomery. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his youngest sister Linda Townsend. He was the father of David (Jan) Moody, Ronald (Sherry) Moody and Douglas Moody. He was the grandfather of five and the great grandfather of six. He was an accountant for 32 years at General Motors Allison retiring in 1983. Calling will be held on Monday November 18, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway from 4 pm to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 19, 2013 at the funeral center at 11 am. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Society or to Chapel Rock Christian Church where he was a long time member.
