Donald Ray Smith

Donald Ray Smith of Indianapolis passed away unexpectedly at his residence on April 20, 2013, he was 65. He was born January 26, 1948 in Hazard KY to John and Leanner Smith. Don was a retired steel worker who loved his family and enjoyed the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents and a great grandson Connor Tilson. Survivors include his son, Donald Ray Smith, II (fiancé Kristina Olson) his daughters; Donya Lynn Jordan (husband Roland) and Donna Kay Brown, and his sisters; Ruby Jochum, Verda Mundy, Jessie Martin, Mary "Tootsie" Castle, and Josephine Sexton..and also 5 grandchildren Donad R Smith, III, Dustin Pitcock, Brittany Killet, Danyelle Bowman and Jalen McFatridge and 1 great grandchild Lilli Tilson. Funeral services will be this Saturday at 6 PM in Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur. Friends may call from 3 PM until time of service Saturday at the funeral center.
