Donald L. Pollard

Donald LeRoy Pollard, 88, of Venice, Florida, passed away on September 6, 2025.

He was born on June 25, 1937, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He resided in Florida since 1982. He was a Methodist. He was a member of the Indiana Optimists for 18 years, becoming the District Governor in 1979.

In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his son David.

Don is survived by his son James, Donald of Florida, and Scott of Ohio; brother Howard “Skip” Pollard of Indianapolis, as well as five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Don will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East (10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229) from 1-3pm. Funeral services will follow at 3 pm with burial taking place at Washington Park East Cemetery.
