Donald J. Norris

Donald Joseph Norris, 94, died December 2,2025. He was born November 6,1931 to Emil S. and Bernette Dooley Norris in Loogootee, IN. Don graduated from Marmion Academy in Aurora, IL and attended Indiana University. On May 5,1984 he married Lois Dale Horning. They enjoyed a happy union until her passing September 9, 2007. He retired after 37 years in the insurance industry and traveled extensively. In addition to his parents and wife he was predeceased by brothers Henry, Dooley, George, Glen and a sister Dorothy Smith. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery Chapel, 9001 Haverstick Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46240 at 11:00 am, Friday, December 12 with calling beginning at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 2345 W. 86th St., Indianapolis, IN 46260.
