Donald Mcdonough

Donald McDonough 68, of Indianapolis, died March 24, 2015. He was born on August 5, 1946 in Osgood, Indiana to the late Gale and Louella Martin McDonough. Don honorably served his country in the US Navy. After service, he worked for Witco Richardson Rubber for many years. He also was Past President of the United Rubber and Linoleum Union. He loved spending time with his family, hunting, playing pool and watching old westerns like Gunsmoke, The Rifleman. He never knew a stranger and was always willing to help out his family and friends whenever needed. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Roberta (Hicks) McDonough, children Cathy (Bob) Dorris, Brenda (Phillip) Burton, Cynde (Jim) Bourke, Donnie McDonough, Susan McDonough, siblings Ruby Walker Bob Reynolds, Gale McDonough, John McDonough, Ronnie McDonough, Shirley Taylor, 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4-8pm and Friday one hour prior to the service at Flanner and Buchanan- Floral Park. Services will be held Friday at 11am in the funeral center.
