Donald Lee Wagoner peacefully passed away on August 28, 2023, at age 90. He battled a short-term
illness with great attitude, determination, and gratitude to his caregivers, family, and friends.

Don was born July 16, 1933, to Lee Roy Wagoner and Utoka Marie (Stalnaker) Wagoner. He was
preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Cherie Diane Wagoner, and granddaughter, Sarah Kathleen
Wagoner. Don leaves behind three sons, Andrew Wagoner, Richard Wagoner, and Russell (Kelly)
Wagoner, and four grandchildren, Jonathan “AJ” Wagoner, Emily Wagoner, Kara (Skylar) Daniels, and
Benjamin Wagoner. In addition, he leaves behind his long-time girlfriend Carole Lightfoot, whom he
dearly loved, and Leann and Jeff Gerding, whom he counted as a daughter and son-in-law.

Don lived a life characterized by hard work, dedication to family, and service to others. Later in life,
Don’s faith in God through Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior, was renewed and evident to all. He will be
remembered for his Christ-like compassion and commitment to family, friends, and those in need. All
honor and glory to Jesus.

Date of Services is Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Flanner & Buchanan Oaklawn Memorial Gardens-Conner Suite, 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250. Visitation at 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM.
Funeral and graveside services immediately following visitation.
