Donald L. Scales

Donald L. Scales, 78, Indianapolis passed away April 17, 2015. He was born February 28, 1937 in Indianapolis to Milton Oscar and Rose Mamie (Wells) Scales. Donald had worked and retired from Allison's and was a member of UAW. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Donald is survived by his wife, Shirley; children, Donald Scales, Sean Scales, Bethany Thurman, Ramona Rose Hayes, Laurel (Guy) Scales, Lisa Sikkink, Michelle Gist, Amy Williams, Laschel Scales, Desmond Scales, Dallas Scales, Chet Scales and Ryan Scales;32 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by children, Daniel, Angie and Marlene Scales and grandchildren, Joshua Scales, Nicole Milam and Amber Scales. Services will be 1 pm Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd. Visitation will be 11 am until 1 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
