Donald Horock

Donald E. Horock 93, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 18, 2015. He was an electrical engineer for Indianapolis Power and Light Company for 16 years, retiring in 1985. Previously, he was a sales engineer for Barber-Colman Company, Rockford, IL for 27 years. He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin where he was a member of Triangle Fraternity. He was also a member of East 91st Street Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris L. (Johnson) Horock. He is survived by his children, John (Janet), Tom (Dawn) and Donna (Steve) Horock; sister, Jane Schilling; grandchildren, Heidi and Shawn; four great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Services will be Monday, February 23, 2015 at 2 p.m. with calling one hour prior in the Good Shepherd Chapel at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Entombment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to, Best Years Fellowship, c/o E. 91sth Street Christian Church. "Just as I was having so much fun, this had to happen."
