Donald Floyd Ogle
of Fishers, Indiana passed away November 15, 2013. He was born to the late Lou Perdom and Mary Elizabeth Thomas Ogle on April 24, 1930 in Canton, Ohio. He was a U.S. Army Combat Veteran during the Korean War and was a recipient of the Bronze Star. He was an Indianapolis business man for many years. His memberships include Service Club of Indianapolis, Korean War Veterans Association, American Legion Post 153, Murat Shrine, Scottish Rite and Masonic Lodge. He also was founder of Waryears Discussion Group and was Vice President of World War II Roundtable. Don also was a life guard at Riviera Club and played basketball at Butler University. Don loved the Chicago Bears but his greatest love was being with his family.
Don was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Henderer of Rogers, AR and his brother, Raymond W. Ogle of Carmel, IN
He is survived by his loving wife "Jan" Janet Louise Houghland Ogle, children, Jeannine Ann Ogle Henderson (Andrew) of Fishers, IN, Joan Elaine Ogle Kahn (Ralph) of Indianapolis, IN, James Lou Ogle of Indianapolis, IN, Robin Ogle Berlin of Grand Rapids, MI, grandchildren, Patrick Julian Kahn, Madelyn Elaine Kahn, Julia Caroline Kahn all of Indianapolis, IN and Benjamin Andrew Berlin, Samuel James Berlin, Lucas Charles Harden Berlin all of Grand Rapids, MI and several nieces and nephews. He was Paw Paw to his grandchildren and will be greatly missed.
Service will be 2:00 Friday, November 22, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan – Carmel with calling Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M and 1 hour prior before service on Friday. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
