Donald F. Smith

Donald F. Smith, 82 of Indianapolis passed away at his home on August 28, 2013. He was born in Burkesville, KY. He joined the US Air Force after attending Arsenal Tech High School. He was later employed at Indiana Bell. He was a member of the Northeast Church of Christ. He enjoyed family gatherings, yard work and Disney World. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Donna, his twin daughters, Sharon (John) Skomp of Indianapolis, Karen (Mike) Skomp of Greenfield, grandchildren, John (Jordan), Anna (Damon), Roger, Daniel and Maria. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Eva Smith, his parents Travis and Ora Smith and five sisters, Dorothy, Eulene, Elsie, Lois and Judy. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM -12:00 Noon Tuesday, September 3, 2013 with the funeral being held at 12:00 Noon at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, Indiana. Interment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
