Donald Eugene Warman

Donald Eugene Warman, 74, of Indianapolis, passed away July 23, 2017.

He was born on June 1, 1943 to Rolie Thomas and Phariba Ginger (Lane) Warman, who preceded him in death.

Donald proudly served in the Peace Corps and was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired from the Railroad Retirement Board, where he worked for 12 years, and was a longtime member of the A.A. Southside Fellowship.

Celebrating 40 years of sobriety, Donald was an amazing man who touched many people’s lives and hearts, especially those closest to him and who loved him greatly.

Donald is survived by his wife of 14 years, Deana Warman; four daughters, Linette (Jeff) Quack, Melinda (John) Kuhns, LaDonna (Ben) Goshow, Nicole (Mark) Webber and step-son, Todd Godan. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Toni McGuire, Crystal Van Horn, Destiny Quack and Harper, Nina and Oliver Goshow, Mackenzie and Christopher Webber, as well as three great-grandchildren, Rhianne McGuire, Julun Staggs, and Nevaeh Lockett.

Donations may be made in Donald’s memory to A.A. Southside Fellowship, 429 E. Raymond Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204.

Friends may visit from 1 pm until service time at 3 pm, Monday July 31, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur, 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46221. Online condolences may be left for the family on our website at www.flannerbuchanan.com
