Donald E. Witte

Donald E. Witte, 89, Indianapolis, was rewarded with a well-deserved trip to Heaven on October 24th. He is preceded in death by his sister Martha (Witte) Haboush. Uncle Don and his wonderful personality will always be remembered as a friend to everyone upon meeting him. His impressive intelligence was equal to his personality and both continued even through his last day of life. Uncle Don spent his early work years in California where he developed his skills as an electronics expert. He could seemingly solve any electronics problem and could improve on many existing solutions. This skill brought him back to Indianapolis in the 1960s where he found a great career and life at J & J Distributors. Uncle Don considered his co-workers at J & J Distributors as family and remained active with his great friends from there until his very last day of life.
Uncle Don will always be loved, remembered, respected, admired and appreciated for just being himself, a kind and wonderful person that words cannot adequately describe. He will always be tremendously missed by his nephews Lou and Charlie Haboush and great nieces and nephews LJ, Jacqueline and John Haboush.
Friends may visit from 4-8 PM Wednesday at Flanner and Buchanan Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229. His life will be celebrated at 1 PM Thursday at the funeral center.
