Donald Clayton Fulk

Donald Clayton Fulk, 85, Indianapolis died on March 5, 2013. He was born August 3, 1927, in Bonfield, IL, to Clayton C. and Barbara E. (Magee) Fulk. He graduated from Warren Central High School in1945, served in the Navy during WW II, and graduated from Purdue University in 1950 as a Mechanical Engineer. On June 12, 1948, he married his high school sweetheart, Ellen Keever Fulk, and they shared 61 years of marriage before she went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ. He is survived by their children Donald Bruce (Joy Tripp) Fulk, Carol Fulk (Galen) Classen, and William Dale Fulk, nine grand children and 6 great¬grandchildren, a brother, Richard A. Fulk of Surprise, AZ. His older brother, Marion M. Fulk preceded him in death in 2012. He retired in 1993 as President of F & G Engineering, Inc., a mechanical and electrical engineering firm he co-established with Phillip Gardner in January 1964. As a registered Professional Engineer, he served as past President of American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers Central Indiana Chapter, and past President of Central Indiana Chapter of Plumbing Engineers. He also served as past Chairman of Christian Business Men's Committee of Indiana, and as an Elder of the Second Reformed Presbyterian Church. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 11AM at Second Reformed Presbyterian Church, 4800 N. Michigan Road, with calling at 9:30 prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church or to the donor's favorite charity. Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center Washington Park North is handling arrangements.
