Donald T. Barnhart

88 of Camby, Indiana, passed away on March 17, 2024.   Donald was born on October 14, 1935, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Ernest and Mabel Barnhart.  He was a graduate of Ben Davis High School and Ivy Tech.   He was a Navy Veteran.  He was retired from Diamond Chain and was a Deputy Sherriff for the Marion County Sherriff’s Office.  He was a member of the Lynhurst Masonic Lodge.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Mona Louise Barnhart; grandson, Matthew Barnhart; great grandson Seth Ray; three sisters and his parents.  He is survived by his children, Vicki May, Mike (Michele) Barnhart, Rebecca Siddons and Jonda Ellingwood; sister, Ernestine Meyer; eleven grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.  Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 1 pm with visitation from 11 am at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.   Entombment will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Lynhurst Masonic Lodge or Gasburg Grief Share.
