Dona “Sue” Brown passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on December 15. 2020. We will miss her dearly, but we know, because of Gods Promise in John 3:16, For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life, she will be celebrating Christmas with Jesus this year!
We can only imagine the joy that filled her heart the moment she saw her Lord and Savior. She loved him dearly and her life was a testimony to her faithfulness. She had a deep love for teaching. She taught kindergarten for 50 years and loved each and every child she taught. Everyone who knew her loved her. Family meant the world to her and we thank God for the many wonderful memories we have. We will cherish those memories in our hearts until we meet again.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill, and is now happily reunited with him in Heaven. She is survived by her sister, Phyllis Wilkins, and her two loving children Jim (Kathy) Brown and Cinda (Terry) Monday. She is survived by her four grandsons who she adored, Jimmy (Michelle), Joey (Maria), Johnny and Jake Brown. She is also survived by her five great-grandchildren James, Andrew, Emma, Mabel, and Jackson Brown.
No formal memorial services are planned at this time. The family has requested that any memorials or contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 50 E. 91st Street #100, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240. Arrangements entrusted to Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be shared at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
