Don Maschino

Don Maschino, 70, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on March 16, 2026. He was born on September 19, 1955, in Seymour, Indiana, to the late Avis and Betty Maschino.

Don was known for his lively personality, his love for puns, and his expressive communication, often talking with his hands to emphasize a point. Don was the kind of friend everyone wished to have: always ready with a helping hand and just a phone call away. His kindness and generosity were constants in the lives of those fortunate enough to call him a friend.

For over 23 years, Don made significant contributions to the plumbing industry through his career at RT Moore. Throughout this time, he took immense pride in his work, no matter the task at hand. He was a perfectionist and had a strong work ethic, as shown in the vast array of projects he was part of.

Don’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of integrity, precision, and unwavering friendship. Though his physical presence may be gone, the mark he has made on the hearts of his colleagues and friends will continue.

Don is survived by his siblings, Cynthia (Frank) Mosier, Robert “Bob” (Barbara) Maschino, and Debra Long; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Chelsea Maschino; parents, Avis and Betty (Reed) Maschino; and brother, John Maschino.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, from 1pm to 2pm, with a Funeral Service to follow at 2pm, at Flanner Buchanan – Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Road.
