Dominick Loduca

d. March 13, 2021

Indianapolis, Indiana

Dominick LoDuca passed away comfortably in Vero Beach, FL, on March 13, 2021.  He was born to Paul and Vincenza LoDuca in Hammond, IN.  After graduating from high school, Dominick served in the United States Army working with nuclear weapons in New Mexico and Germany.  He earned his BS degree at Indiana University where lasting friendships were made and he met his wife. He remained an avid IU basketball fan. After retiring from RCI, he had time to do the things he loved which often involved vehicles, friends, family, travel and food. Dominick had a passion for good food, wine, and cooking. He was pleased to host family and friends in his home. He enjoyed preparing lamb, pasta, waffles and wasn’t afraid to try a new recipe. He had a love of cars and motorcycles. He was on call for questions and advice when friends and family were considering a new car. He loved Sunday motorcycle rides on curvy roads and the time to ride to motorcycle rallies in OR, MT, and WA. He enjoyed the trips to Sicily to visit his family.  Anticipating another trip, he did his Duolingo lessons faithfully every day for a year.  When he gave up motorcycling, he kept his friends and got his thrills from riding his bicycle 12-16 miles a day. He was always willing to do the research to make the perfect purchase whether it was car wax, a wallet, or an espresso machine.  He enjoyed life, wanted the best for everyone and tried to do his best. Dominick will be remembered for being opinionated, honest, loyal, and enthusiastic.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  Dominick was preceded in death by his parents and brother Pro LoDuca.  He is survived by his loving wife, Jane; his brother’s son Paul ( Kathy ); cousin Mario Vitale; sisters-in-law Martha Simpson, Terry Wallace, Lu Pennal, Heidi Wallace; brothers-in-law Stan Mikosz, Andy Wallace; nieces and nephews; and his family in Sicily: Procopio and Maria Pia LoDuca, Suzanna and Giuseppe Impastato, Maria and Gaspare Vederame, Jerry and Anna LoDuca and all their children.
