In Loving Memory of Dolores Ramirez Santos August 19, 1949 – July 7, 2025
Dolores Ramirez Santos, age 75, of Indianapolis, passed away surrounded by family and love. Born in Bocaue, Bulacan, Philippines, to the late Agapito Hipolito and Encarnacion (Ramirez) Santos, Dolores lived a life defined by grace, quiet strength, and compassion.
A proud graduate of the University of Santo Tomas, she earned her degree in Medical Technology before dedicating her career as a meticulous and devoted lab technician. In 1984, Dolores courageously embarked on a new chapter, immigrating to Indianapolis to build a life rooted in resilience and care.
Dolores had a special love for gardening, a passion she shared with her beloved sister, Angelita. Together, they cultivated more than just vegetables and blossoms—they nurtured joy, warmth, and memories.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Reynaldo and Ferdinand Santos. She is survived by her sister Angelita Santos; her brother Laudelino (Elisa) Santos; sister-in-law Laura Esguerra Santos; nephews Julius (Joy) Santos, Jim Phillip Santos, niece Jannelyn Santos; nephews Michelangelo (Laura) Santos, Oliver (Teri Cotton) Santos; and grandnephews Rayder and Nico Santos.
Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished, the community she touched, and the kindness she sowed—like the gardens she so patiently tended.
A private visitation for family will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a Catholic service at Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd. W. Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46228.
