Dolly E. Adkins

Dolly Ethel Irene Adkins, 96 of Indianapolis passed away on December 8, 2012. She was born June 6, 1916 in Birdseye, IN to Jesse and Sallie M. Spraggins Melton. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Everett Verna Adkins, her grand-daughters, Deborah Lynn Petrey and Laura Kay Van Dyke as well as 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Surviving to cherish her memory are her son, Harold (Denise) Adkins, daughters, Jeton (John) Sipes, Sheila (Pete) Van Dyke, 3 grandchildren, Scott Van Dyke, Steven Sipes and Amy Adkins, 6 great-grandchildren, Allison Van Dyke, Josh Van Dyke, Luke Van Dyke, Lindsey Van Dyke, Chelsea Wickham and Carolyn Petrey and one great-great-granddaughter, Faye Stiff. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m to 1:00 p.m..on Wednesday, December 12, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 1:00p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E.
