Dinubhai Punjabhai Patel

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Dinubhai Punjabhai Patel, a devoted father, grandfather, and respected member of his community; Dinubhai passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Born on July 15, 1939, in Bharoda, India, Dinubhai lived a life defined by kindness, dedication, humility, and unwavering strength. He was known for his gentle nature, wisdom, punctuality, and deep love for his family. His greatest joy came from caring for his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whose lives he shaped with patience, guidance, and unconditional love.

Dinubhai dedicated more than 30 years of service to the Oil and Natural Gas Commission (ONGC), India’s largest oil and gas producer, where he earned the respect and admiration of colleagues through his integrity, professionalism, and tireless work ethic. He carried those same values into every aspect of his life.

He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Kantaben, whom he lovingly cared for throughout her life. He leaves behind five children, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a large extended family whose lives will forever reflect the values, compassion, and strength he instilled in them.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewing on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Flanner Buchanan Funeral Centers – Speedway, 2950 N High School Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46224. A funeral ceremony will follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
