Dianne J. Roberts

Dianne J. Roberts, 62, of Indianapolis, passed away January 23^rd, 2024. She was born in East Chicago, Indiana May 10^th, 1961, to parents Donald Smith and Eleanor (Trojnar) Lewis. 

Dianne grew up in Lake Village with her mother and stepfather, William Lewis. She graduated from North Newton High School and went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. 

A hard worker, Dianne had several jobs throughout her life. She managed a Wal-Mart, spent several years as a security officer, and most recently, retired from Mitsubishi. 

Dianne was a loving, genuine lady. She had a huge heart for animals and adored her fur babies. Her passion for video games was contagious. She spent countless hours gaming with her son, Kevin, her nephew Tyler, and many online friends. She and her son loved watching anime, as well.  Every year, Dianne looked forward to her favorite holiday, Halloween. She loved decorating for spooky season, and took any excuse to watch her favorite movies, horror movies, of course. 

Dianne was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

She is survived by her siblings Steven (DiMarie) Smith, Esq., and Theresa Carrow; aunt and uncle Bill and Helen Smith; niece Sarah Smith, nephew Tyler Carrow; and fur babies Infinity and Banner. 

Dianne is preceded in death by her son Kevin Roberts; her brother-in-law Andrew Carrow; and her parents.
