Diana Kay Poturalski, 62, of New Palestine, passed away July 4, 2025. Diana was born in Rushville, Indiana on April 13,1963, to parents, Robert and Mary Beth (McManus) Woods. Diana graduated from New Palestine High School and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University.
Diana worked as a Procurement Manager for the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) during her 40-year career. As part of her career with INDOT, she worked closely with all the districts and divisions within the agency.
Diana was preceded in death by her father, Robert Woods. She is survived by her husband Jim, daughter Catherine (Michael) Vale of Hampshire, Illinois, son Christopher (Brooke) Poturalski of Irvine, California, mother Mary Beth Woods of Greenwood, Indiana, brother Brian (Marlena) Woods of Pittsboro, Indiana and grandchildren Walter and Noah Vale and Max Poturalski.
Diana enjoyed vacations with her family that regularly included trips to Disney World and Disneyland along with Caribbean cruises and many trips to other locations. Summer months were filled with frequent trips to baseball games and outdoor concerts. She especially enjoyed travelling to spend time with her children and grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held in early fall. Details on date and times will be posted later this month.
