Diana Sue Phillips (Sullivan), of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Thursday May 1, 2025. She was born June 11, 1954, to the late James Patton Jr. and Phyllis (Sturgis) Patton.
Diana was employed by Cram Map and Globes for 25 years. She cherished every moment spent with her family, creating memories filled with love and laughter. Diana took pride in keeping her house spotless and welcoming, and when she wasn’t cleaning, she found joy in the plants she lovingly tended. Her famous dirt cake was a favorite along loved ones. Whether sipping a warm cup of coffee or wrapped in her favorite blankets, Diana found comfort in the little things, and her warmth and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her siblings, Vicky Dishman, Doris Tibbs, James Patton Jr., and Barbara Patton; children, Jennifer Lynn Altenberger Phillips, Jefferey (Lisa) Lynn Phillips Jr., Jerri Lynn Phillips, and Keith Ryan Phillips; 13 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her parents James Patton Jr. and Phyllis Patton and her grandson Chad White.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday May 8, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until 8:00pm Wednesday May 7, 2025, at the funeral home.
