Diana Merritt

Diana M. Merritt 75, of Mooresville, IN passed away very unexpectedly August 3, 2014.She was born December 19, 1938 to the late Ross and Lillian Meunier. She married Robert J. "Bob" Merritt on September 1, 1962. She was retired from Eli Lilly as a Secretary and in the Quality Control Department. Prior to this she worked in the cafeteria for the Avon School System. When asked the family stated that Diana had no enemies and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, loved to shop, travel, work in the garden, go to lunch and a movie with her girlfriends, NASCAR, cooking, baking and animals. Diana is survived by her husband of 51 years, Bob, her daughter, Dana Lynn Merritt and her brother, Jim Meunier. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 2 PM in Flanner and Buchanan-Decatur Township with the visitation there on Wednesday August 6th 4-8 PM. She will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville, Indiana. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be given to the Morgan County Humane Society.
