Mr. DeWayne Douglas Johnson
was born to Marlene I. Taylor Johnson and the late William D. Johnson on July 7, 1957 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
DeWayne attended Indianapolis Public Schools and Arlington High School. On June 24, 1995 he married Regina Johnson in Orlando, Florida.
DeWayne worked as a light and sound technician with the Manchild Band and other groups. He also worked at King Ribs, Indianapolis Fruit, Autumn Health Care, Humane Society and free lanced as DJ Mac Wayne.
Little Wayne was also known as Boss Hog, Funk Man and Wayno. He loved music, cars, upside down bikes, go carts, trikes, animals and aquariums. His favorite pastime-mugging in his fur coat and sunglasses with a gangsta lean. His favorite saying-"One day it's chicken and the next it's feathers."
DeWayne Johnson departed this life on October 3, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father William D. Johnson, step-father Norman Roberts, son Jasper Paciely, granddaughter Kiera Cox, Lawrence Dean and TeeAiran Ward. DeWayne leaves to cherish his precious memory Regina Johnson of 17 years, his mother Marlene Taylor Johnson; mother-in-law Anna Woods; sons Dewayne Paciely and Damon Boddie; daughters April (Maurice) Davis, Dionne Cherie Frederick, Lawayne (Anthony) Leachman, Shawn Paciely, Solita (Marcus) Hubbard and Tamika Dean; siblings Anthony & Debra Johnson, Sabrina Roberts, Kenneth & Donness Roulette, Tonya Roulette, Douglas & Terri Johnson, Demetrius Johnson; in-laws Terrie and Kimberly Glenn, Latonya (Lee) Bates, Renee and Sherry Woods, James and Ronald Glenn, Anthony and Shawn Woods; 23 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; special aunt Nora Campbell; God Mother Amanda Stanford; a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives and friends; pets Princess and Bio Bio.
