Deonte Montece Giles

Deonte “Tae” M. Giles 15, of Indianapolis, was born December 10, 1995 to Ann Marie Giles and Roger Richardson. He was a student at Thomas Carr Howe Community High School and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Deonte made it known to everyone that he was proud to have been from Brightwood. His walk, his laugh and his style were uniquely his from his tennis shoes to his haircut to his ability to dance. His friends talked about his amazing athletic ability from doing back flips to playing basketball. They remembered him joking around and telling stories. He was funny and people always had a good time around him. He liked being in Ms. Marion’s math class as she always made him feel welcome there. He was a good big brother and very protective of his little sister who he used to walk to school. He loved his family, especially his mother. His energy and laughter and presence will be missed greatly by his family. Visitation for Deonte will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011, from 12 to 1 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1 p.m. at the funeral center.
