Dennis Ray Jakeway

Dennis R. Jakeway 51, of Rockville, died October 1, 2014. Dennis was born on March 23, 1963 in Indianapolis to Leland Jakeway and Sandy Foster. After high school, Dennis proudly served his country in the US Army. He was the owner of Jakeway Flooring Company. He also has a passion for music and played as a drummer for several bands Dakota, Willow River, Poplar Ridge and Sonny Jacobs and The Sunny Siders. He is survived by his mother Sandy Hall Foster, step father Jim Foster, daughters Amber Jakeway, Katie Jakeway, brother Rick Davis, sisters Tina Cook, Tammy Bullington, Melissa Jakeway Smith, 5 grandchildren, 3 nieces and 5 nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Leland F. Jakeway. Visitation will be held Friday from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center- Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30pm at the funeral center. Burial will follow the services in Floral Park Cemetery.
